Saunf And Badam Curry

Introduction:
hi! there today i am going to share with you one of my favourite recipe. Amla and almond curry is traditional dish of punjab . which is very popular in rural areas of Pakistan especially in punjab. this is very healthy and delicious . in village side during winter when you feeling cold this is very beneficial for cold and cough also. when you don't want to eat anything this curry makes you feel hungry because of its aromatic smell of fennel and gooseberry , coconut and lots of more ingredients.
Ingredients
garlic : 1/2 cup almost 2 bulb
ginger : 2 tbsp
clarified butter 1/2 cup
red chili powder 1 tbsp or according to taste
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
tomatoes : 2 pureed at home
salt 1 tbsp or to taste
fennel seeds : 3 tbsp
crushed almonds : 1/2 cup
desiccated coconut : 1/2 cup
green chilies : 1 to 2
coriander powder 1 tbsp
black pepper powder 1 pinch
dried amla : 1/4 cup socked in water for 15 minutes
water 1 1/2 liter
fresh coriander leaves
steps to follow:
Prepare ingredients
1.Crush fennel
seeds and almond in pestle separately. Now crush garlic into pestle.
2.Heat clarified
butter (desi ghee) in saucepan and add garlic fry until light brown on medium
to slow flame. Garlic is key ingredient of this curry recipe that is why we
take lots of garlic.
3.Now add red
chili powder and turmeric ad some water and add fresh tomato puree homemade. And
salt according to taste. Cook until tomato cooks completely now add crushed
fennel powder, crushed almond, desiccated coconut, and add some green chilies
and coriander powder and black pepper powder. Cook 5 minutes and add amla (gooseberry) soaked
in water. Must wash well before soaking in water.
4.Now add 1 ½
litre of water and cook on medium to slow flame for about 25 minutes.
5.After 25 minutes
add coriander leaves and garam masala powder delicious curry is ready to eat.
6.Now take freshly
cooked roti makes chunks and add into a bowl. And pour curry enjoy hot with
spoon like soup or with hands.
